You know when you can't get a certain smell out of your nose? Well, for me, unfortunately, every now and then, I can smell the nastiness of your being, somewhat like the odor of raw sewage. Hoping it will finally go away, like the bunions on your feet.

Hey Justin,

You might not remember us, but my husband Kent and I are sorta neighbors of your mom and dad out here in Dewey County. Having grown up here, you'll understand the 'sorta', I am sure (c;. I remember watching you and your brother grow up, and occasionally I even run across a picture I took of you holding Kent's gelding for him while he was trimming feet. (c; In any case, we had NO idea your dad had been so sick! We travel a lot and it's difficult to keep up on the local news. So glad to hear he pulled through and is doing much better.

Take care,
Lori Herbel

Justin,

How wonderful to read of your dad's struggle and great progress! I work in the home office for United Country Real Estate and have seen your dad here a few times but never really had the opportunity to meet him. I so enjoyed reading how deeply you love him and what a wonderful man he is. You are a gifted writer.

Please know that he and your family are in my prayers. You are so right, he nor none of us will live forever but it is so terribly hard to let go when it seems too soon. Someday, we all hope to be on that "other side" together.

Blessing to you and my sincere prayers and good wishes.

God Bless you and Your Dad Justin,

Unfortunately we will be leaving Nacogdoches for Louisiana in a couple of weeks, but your church and your ministry has touched our family greatly, in the five years we have been apart of it, and we will never forget your humor and unique presentation of the Lord's Word.
