Chick-fil-A Gets It Right

img_0032Chick-fil-A stomps the crap-a-rewski out of other fast/family restaurants simply by using their head and caring for their customers. Here is my proof.

I entered the establishment at a time when they were slammed with customers. I was sans the wifey and trying to corral 4 kids, all of which are 6 years old or younger. Vivian, from Liberia, noticed my predicament, volunteered to take them to the playground and assured me that she would personally watch them while I ordered. Genius! I’m happy and the line moved faster – more cashola for Chick-fil-A.

While ordering I overheard Luke Wilbanks, Store Manager, wisely dealing with a customer who was being asked to wait 5 minutes for her giant business meeting type order. He simply said, “What could I offer you to drink while you are waiting?” The lady was all smiles and shocked that she was given something for free.img_0031

That’s genius management. He spent a whopping 13 cents and won a return customer.

Go to Chick-fil-A in Nacogdoches, TX and tell Luke Wilbanks that Justin Beadles sent you.

  1. When you take care of your employees, they will take care of the customer every time. Companies that understand this will be around a long time regardless of what the economy does.

Plus, they just make a crazy good chicken sandwich.
